For high volume production printing our Roland AdvancedJet printers have a maximum print speed of 90m²/hr (104" AJ-1000i) and 81m²/hr. (74" AJ-740i). The AdvancedJet AJ-i series has redefined the standards for high-volume production printing and is ideal for applications such as vehicle graphics, banners, billboards, outdoor signage and other durable graphics - producing brilliant six-colour CMYK+LcLm graphics on both coated and uncoated media.

Roland VersaCAMM, VersaUV and SolJet printer/cutters feature Roland’s renowned print/cut technology that facilitates a one-step seamless production cycle for both the high-resolution printing and contour cutting required to produce sophisticated sign graphics, as well as labels, decals, vehicle graphics and more.

Roland offers a complete line of professional GX series cutters for vinyl signs, vehicle graphics, window tinting, labels, stencils and pinstriping applications. Roland’s optical registration system makes it fast and easy to contour cut full colour pre-printed graphics for print/cut applications as well. Contour cut a variety of materials including paint mask, window film, twill, heat transfers and sandblast. Choose from our high-performance GX PRO series and the more compact GX-24 desktop model.

EngravingADA, Braille and Indoor Signs

Add a Roland EGX series engraver to your business to produce ID, directional and Braille signage as well as nameplates, badges, plaques, promotional items and many other engraved products or use the VersaUV LEC-330 to produce Braille printed signage.

  • VersaArt RS-640

    The VersaArt RS-640 eco-solvent wide-format printer integrates the latest technologies from Roland’s award-winning VersaCAMM and SOLJET PRO III models. The VersaArt is the perfect production tool for both indoor and outdoor graphics including signs, POP/POS materials, banners, posters, vehicle graphics and wraps. Setup with the BU-2 bulk ink system and HeatWave SBL2 sublimation inks, the RS-640S is perfect for soft signage, apparel and interior décor.

    VersaArt prints reflect the highest image quality thanks to Roland Intelligent Pass Control™ technology, a unique three-dimensional ink firing system that precisely controls droplet size and placement for exceptionally smooth results every time. Designed for productivity, the VersaArt prints at up to 12.7 sq m/hr in standard mode and 21.4 sqm/hr. in billboard mode.

    Built to be energy efficient and low maintenance, the VersaArt is Energy Star certified and carries Roland’s new Eco-Label, an ISO 14021 Type II label certifying compliance with a company’s internal environmental standards.

    • Roland Intelligent Pass Control

      First introduced in SOLJET PRO III models, Roland Intelligent Pass Control technology (patent pending) is a combination of printer and software advancements that control the ink firing at the edge of each pass and deliver the proper ink density for all media in every print mode. The result is improved print quality and throughput while virtually eliminating banding. With Roland Intelligent Pass Control, VersaArt graphics reflect stunning image quality with exceptionally smooth gradations and flawless solid colors.

      Speed is one of the most critical factors in designing a wide format printer. On banner media, the RS-640 prints at 21.4 sq m/hr. in billboard mode and 12.7 sq m/hr. in standard mode.

    • ECO-SOL MAX ™ Inks

      ECO SOL MAXECO-SOL MAX ™ is a remarkable innovation in ink technology, offering fast drying time, high density, wide color gamut, rugged scratch resistance, low cost per square foot, and broad uncoated media support. In addition, ECO-SOL MAX ™ is virtually odorless.

      The VersaArt features ECO-SOL MAX ™ ink in four colors (CMYK) and in both 220ml and 440ml cartridges. ECO-SOL MAX graphics are water and UV resistant up to 3 years outdoors*. VersaWorks automatically monitors ink levels in both 220ml or 440ml cartridges and posts a warning when levels run low.

      * Outdoor durability is based on accelerated weather tests. Results may vary depending upon location and application. Dry times vary depending on specific media characteristics. Lamination may be required for some applications or environmental conditions.

    • VersaWorks RIP Software

      VersaWorksVersaWorks RIP software has been developed exclusively for Roland inkjet printers and printer/cutters. This true Adobe PostScript 3 RIP ensures exceptional production output with unmatched ease of use and incorporates the latest Adobe CPSI 3019 engine.

      VersaWorks supports the Roland Color system which accurately reproduces more than 1,000 spot colors from color charts and swatch books. With VersaWorks, users can choose from print options including a high-speed mode for production banner printing, the MAX Impact preset for vivid outdoor graphics and Artistic mode for exceptional indoor graphics. In addition, VersaWorks features Variable Data Printing and supports up to four Roland devices simultaneously including printers, printer/cutters and cutters. It automatically estimates the ink usage and print time for each graphic so you can accurately monitor time and costs.

      VersaWorks features include embedded ICC profile support, ink level adjustment tools, software proofing capabilities, error diffusion for outstanding print quality and advanced cropping, tiling and nesting options. Support for Roland cutters allows you to pair a Roland cutter with any wide-format or desktop printer for print/cut applications. The PerfCut function produces precision perforated cut lines. VersaWorks 4.0 is fully compatible with Windows 7, Vista, XP and 2000.

For maximum productivity, the VersaArt features all-new heavy duty media shafts and flanges that stabilize printer performance and support media rolls up to 40 kg for the RS-640. For unattended roll-to-roll printing, the optional TU2-64 take-up system is available.
