  • SOLJET™ Pro II V SJ-1045

    The 104" SOLJET™ SJ-1045 grand format printer prints billboards, banners and vehicle graphics up to 45 sq. m/h (484 sqft/h) Like the rest of the SOLJET™ Series, the SJ-1045 prints brilliant graphics directly onto uncoated materials without harmful fumes or expensive ventilation systems. Graphics dry fast and last up to three years outdoors without lamination.*

    • Blazing Print Speed

      In addition to printing fine reproductions,the PRO II V Series can produce 360 х 360dpi signs and POP display at 31 sq. m/hr. With one-inch-wide print heades that employ 360° nozziles each,the PRO II V prints large 10 sq. mtr banners in only 20 minutes.

    • ECO-SOL MAX™ Inks

      ECO SOL MAXECO-SOL MAX™ is a remarkable innovation in ink technology, offering fast drying time, high density, wide color gamut, rugged scratch resistance, low cost per square meter, and broad uncoated media support. In addition, ECO-SOL MAX ™ is virtually odorless.

      The SJ-1045 features ECO-SOL MAX™ ink in four colors (CMYK) and in both 220ml and 440ml cartridges. ECO-SOL MAX graphics are water and UV resistant up to 3 years outdoors*. VersaWorks automatically monitors ink levels in both 220ml or 440ml cartridges and posts a warning when levels run low.

    • Optional IS-1000 High Capacity Ink Delivery System

      Bulk Ink SystemTo ensure performance for even the longest production runs, the SJ-1045 features the optional IS-1000 high capacity ink delivery system that incorporates a total of 24 ink cartridges. This ink system ensures uninterrupted performance with an automated ink-empty warning that signals when a cartridge needs replacement. Cartridges can then be replaced easily without the need to pause the printer.

    • Great Print Quality

      The SJ-1045 precisely controls droplet placement in both the print head travel and paper feed directions to provide true 1440 x 1440 dpi resolution in Artistic Mode. It uses a digital servomotor to control the media and features Piezo print heads.

      Variable droplet technology uses micro-precise ink droplets of three different sizes depending on the type of output. This state-of-the-art technology delivers truly breathtaking output with virtually smooth, dot-free tones even at high speed.

      The SJ-1045 features the option to run in two different ink configurations: four-color CCMMYK or six-color CMYKLcLm. The CCMMYK configuration was designed to achieve the highest print speeds possible while maintaining vibrant colors in a wide gamut. The six-color CMYKLcLm configuration ensures optimum photorealistic quality and color gamut - even when viewing graphics from a short distance.

      In addition, VersaWorks™ supports industry standard ICC profiles, comes with several Roland media profiles, and is compatible with profiles created through standard profiling packages. An updated list of profiles can also be accessed through the Roland@NET service.

    • Automated Media Feed and Take Up System

      Take Up systemThe SJ-1045 includes an automated media feed and take-up system to facilitate precision printing, even when unattended. This pre-assembled unit includes front-mounted feed and take-up rollers and a dual idler roller system that applies tension to larger rolls to ensure media is fed straight. The system supports rolls weighing up to 100 kgs. and offers front access for convenient loading and unloading of both feed and take-up rolls.

    • Integrated Heating System

      Heating systemAll SOLJET™ inkjets include an integrated media heating system that accelerates ink fastness, brightness and drying times. The SJ-1045 features a pre- and print-heater to help with ink fastness and a long sloping post-heater to quickly dry the large print jobs produced.

    • VersaWorks RIP Software

      VersaWorksVersaWorks RIP software has been developed exclusively for Roland inkjet printers and printer/cutters. This true Adobe PostScript 3 RIP ensures exceptional production output with unmatched ease of use and incorporates the latest Adobe CPSI 3019 engine.

      VersaWorks supports the Roland Color system which accurately reproduces more than 1,000 spot colors from color charts and swatch books. With VersaWorks, users can choose from print options including a high-speed mode for production banner printing, the MAX Impact preset for vivid outdoor graphics and Artistic mode for exceptional indoor graphics. In addition, VersaWorks features Variable Data Printing and supports up to four Roland devices simultaneously including printers, printer/cutters and cutters. It automatically estimates the ink usage and print time for each graphic so you can accurately monitor time and costs.

      VersaWorks features include embedded ICC profile support, ink level adjustment tools, software proofing capabilities, error diffusion for outstanding print quality and advanced cropping, tiling and nesting options. Support for Roland cutters allows you to pair a Roland cutter with any wide-format or desktop printer for print/cut applications. The PerfCut function produces precision perforated cut lines. VersaWorks 4.0 is fully compatible with Windows 7, Vista, XP and 2000.

    • Low Running Costs

      Low CostECO-SOL MAX ™ boosts the performance of Roland eco-solvent inkjets at low running costs that both you and your customers will appreciate.

      For a low-density image, we estimate an average ink cost of $2 per sq metre and an average media cost of $4 per sq metre for a total of $6 per sq metre. For a high-density image, we estimate an average ink cost of $3.60 per sq metre. and an average media cost* of $3.80 per s metre for a total of $7.40 per sq metre.

    • Standard Roland Features

      Network Connection - Equipped with Roland’s own 100 BASE-TX/10 BASE-T interface, the SJ-1045 connects seamlessly to office networks without additional software, achieving an increased data transmission rate of 100 Mb/sec. This makes it easy to configure a highly efficient printing environment.

      Reliability You Can Count On - The SJ-1045 is designed to be a bulletproof production machine. With regular maintenance, it will provide years of trouble-free service. But, unlike most inkjets that require daily maintenance, the SJ-1045 requires significantly less servicing.
